Do you think that Carol Vorderman is getting too old for her racy dress sense, over 40 now?

No.  She can dress in sky blue pink is she likes. Who said there is an age cut-of for anything?  Personally I like dressing as mutton dressed as mutton.  The nice thing about being over 40 is that we don't care what people think.  I don't wear all that I like as I might judge that I look ridiculous in something, but it is my decision.  Most people start looking boring far too earlyin life.   Ought to be a law against it1
On the first Countdown episode in the 80s she actually looked older than she does now because of her frumpy clothes. She's made up for it but maybe her kids should drop a few hints.

There is nothing wrong in being young at heart.  Good luck to her.
Her dress sense is awful.  She likes to be seen and heard.  That false laugh if hers is dreadful.

I don't think she EVER had any dress sense,so age hasn't really got anything to do with it!

However, with a brain like hers, something's got to give?!

I can't stand the woman to be honest.. but I think if you feel good and look good then you can wear anything regardless of age.

For and against, I see.  At least we are debating the matter.

Oscar Wilde's statemement was to the effect that there's only one thing worse than being talked about and that's NOT being talked about!  Whether or not one lies Carol V. at least we all notice.  Usually,  women over 40 become 'invisible' in society.

What I do wonder is where all the lovely stuff I see in the shops goes to?  It sells  of course, but look from afar upon the average UK High Street and all people in that street look colourless and fairly scruffy.  Is everything unusual and fashionable worn indoors?

.

i think she looks bloody fantastic and if I look like her at 46 or whatever she is I will be MOST grateful!

Vorderman scores very high on my "Older women: Would you or wouldn't you?" List.

I definately would and i know many other guys my age who feel the same (i am 28 by the way).

So what if she is 40 odd? i hope my wife still looks that good when she is in her 40s!! And if she does then i for one will encourage her to take advantage of her looks.

I usually find that its women who have lost there looks a long time ago that make the bitchy comments (see any sunday newspaper and look for the gossip columns such as the '3 am girls' etc).

Good on her i say!

(PS, anyone got her number????)
