Oscar Wilde's statemement was to the effect that there's only one thing worse than being talked about and that's NOT being talked about! Whether or not one lies Carol V. at least we all notice. Usually, women over 40 become 'invisible' in society.
What I do wonder is where all the lovely stuff I see in the shops goes to? It sells of course, but look from afar upon the average UK High Street and all people in that street look colourless and fairly scruffy. Is everything unusual and fashionable worn indoors?

I definately would and i know many other guys my age who feel the same (i am 28 by the way).
So what if she is 40 odd? i hope my wife still looks that good when she is in her 40s!! And if she does then i for one will encourage her to take advantage of her looks.
I usually find that its women who have lost there looks a long time ago that make the bitchy comments (see any sunday newspaper and look for the gossip columns such as the '3 am girls' etc).
Good on her i say!
