.....................to all those who replied to my earlier post about HMS Sheffield. My uncle also died in WW2, on HMS Glorious as the result of an outrageous blunder by the Admiralty, who, to this day are totally embarrassed by the whole episode. So much so that parts of the Board of Enquiry are still subject to a 100 year secrecy order. My uncle was 18 and there were even younger sailors than him on board who lost their lives. Sorry. It annoys me.

clarion i did a google and i see the captain of HMS glorious went ahead of the rest of the boats except one.

There's a link to bbc secret history programme from 1997 called the tragedy of HMS glorious and reference to the 100 years restriction.

Looks like a naval cover up.
