How long before this ruling is overturned either in the Court of Appeal or House of Lords (under the 1998 Human Rights Act) or by the European Court under the European Convention on Human Rights?

sounds like good law, but I don't see why crematoria shouldn't have an open-air section. It'd have to be shielded from public view, but there's no difference in principle between being cremated inside or outside.
Are there any gamblers out there?

I'll bet you there are!
Two Years
This is probably backed by the funeral directors who are not keen on missing out on a couple of grand for a box and fancy bits they will nick and sell onto the next punter.

I cant see a problem with it myself, infact I quite fancy the idea for me
Why shouldn't this be allowed in a controlled situation? I've already put my missus on red alert to leap onto my pyre should I peg it before her!

However I've insisted on a traditional funeral should she go first. Sounds fair?
