I am unhappy with the service provided by my local council. Is there somewhere where I can complain about this?

Thanks Horselady! Its not a major issue but I've been to see them twice in the last 3 months to sort out my recycling and rubbish bins and they havent paid attention yet and now they are refusing to take my recycling because it isnt sorted into the correct boxes (im using my neighbours blue box but they dont have a green box either!) *rolls eyes*
if you've got a local paper you could try to interest them in your struggle against bureaucracy. But most local papers these days seem to be published by councils - they print all their own job ads to drive independent papers out of business...
Might be a good plan to speak to a local Councillor...that always worked for me in the last place that I lived...they seem to have plenty of Clout in relation to making the Council jump and do what they need to do..

Good Luck..
You have got to go throught the proper channels, im doing this atm, i have tried the council on uimerous occasions with no results, so now i am trying my councillor, which seems to be working for me, have a look at this, it might help
