Beard trimmers suck..and all other trimmers as well

Every hair trimmer I've had has been crap. I've had babyliss for a year or so and use duracell batteries on it but its so crap that the power of the batteries isnt enough for it to work much.
Are all beard trimmers so rubbish or have I had a string of bad luck? I dont know where to post this (wont get much help in technology!) but just really looking for a bloke or two who are happy with theirs and recommend it!

Well my beard trimmer never runs out of batteries. But as mine is a pair of scissors, a comb, a mirror and a wee bit of time once a week (or fortnight, depending on mood), no batteries are required.

him indoors has an electric rechargeable one which he uses every week. plugs the unit into the mains, and slots the trimmer into the unit for an hour or so just before he uses it. it's great, gives a nice, even trim and very quick, he swears by his.

have you tried using mains power instead of a battery?

My bathroom doesnt have the facility to plug in electrics though
