pot of tea ... how ?

I only ever make tea with a tea bag in the mug.

This weekend, our vicar is coming round, and I would like to make a proper pot of tea.

But ... I'm not sure how to go about it.

Has anyone ever made a pot of tea and, if so, could you tell me how to go about it ?

ps. I bought a tea pot today, but was disappointed to find that there were no instructions.

Mix equal parts of vodka, gin, tequila, rum and triple sec with 1 1/2 parts sour mix and a splash of cola.

Now that's PROPER tea.
