at my daughters party at the weekend a family member on her dads side was there, and it turned out that my friend ( who was there) was the boys teacher! she asked how we knew each other ( my daughters dad is cousins with the boys mum)- how does this make my daughter and the little boy related? thanks

Her father and his mother are cousins therefore their respective children are 2nd cousins.
