Just cover the area you don't want tanned with towels. Sun tan lotion will make a horrible mess of the sunbed.

im also concerned that my skin will age so think i need to add spf, does this work on a sunbed with the uva, uvb lights?
If you are worried about your skin ageing you should not get any sort of tan, except out of a bottle.

Your skin tans because it is damaged. It is your choice.
