I think that Eggheads is very contrived and think that the Eggheads have advanced knowledge of what the questions will be about.

Your opinions either way please.

I don't think so . I remember Daphne and Kevin especially from Fifteen To One and they were always brilliant. Indeed, once, Daphne answered every question asked of her to achieve the highest score attainable. Also, if they have advance knowledge, why is it that CJ and Judith are consistently weaker than the rest?

I much prefer A Question of Genius, hope they bring it back!.

Two things I would question.

1) How do we know that contestants are getting set 1 or set 2 of the questions

2) Daphne & CJ get too many guesses correct

I don't watch Eggheads...........used to enjoy fifteen to one...

My brother was on it last year and he said that the show itself takes about 2 hours longer than we see as everyone takes so long to answer questions.

He didn't think the eggheads were given advanced notice of the questions as he said the production crew were realy rooting for his team and not the eggheads!!

2 things peed me off about this show. One was the obvious "missing" bits when they were supposedly isolated. OK, it would be boring watching them leave the set of whatever, but why bother with it?

2, all too often, instead of just giving an answer, both sides would expand on why the other two options were incorrect - boring and showoffy.

I think that's why I enjoyed 15 to 1 as it was non-stop with all questions timed....

which is my point really puds - given the real content of that show it only needs five minutes.

It's the same with Dealor no deal.
Too much chatting with the banker..
Too much kissing after opening each box..
Too much dressing up...
Too many sob stories..
Just get on with opening the boxes ffs....
