Is it usual to have several email accounts and do you keep some for special things

I have several - one for friends and family; one for each of my businesses; one for sites such as this and one for those sites that ask for an email address when I have no intention of going back to them.

Keeps the spam down.
I have 22, twenty of which are related to work, and two are personal.
How do you do that. Please.
I usually set up a new account for each site or service that I subscribe to. I've currently got only 5 accounts but I've had over 100.

Using different account means that, if one starts getting spammed, it can be deleted (and replaced with a new account for the same purpose) without having to notify lots of different people about a change of email address.

It's never a good idea to use an ISP-based email account, because you'll have problems if you want to change your ISP.

lots of email accounts from one computer doesn't work for me, without deleting cookies. Surely Fay (ha ha) you dont work lots of computers simultaneously?

nb, I do hate spelling soooo correctly continuously, am worse than a dictionary - sorry :(
