Has anyone had

a day like this--my 2 children have both split up with their respective partners, I've ended up with 2 grandchildren, a dog ,a cat ,a hamster and a gold fish.Until they all sort things out , so they say.I really don't mind the pets but not too sure about the children!
My 2 children are twins and I am convinced they share the same brain cells.

Who would be a MUM I ask you?

Snags -- made me laugh , very funny --wish I could.

But yesterday , honestly I was happy , carefree and without a care in the world.I can't believe the difference a day makes.

Sachs --reeling from the shock really, had no idea things were not good.
The children are loving every minute being away from home ,racing up and down in the garden and so on.The pets are fine and well fed, and when they are all tucked up for the night I am going to have a large G&T, or maybe 2.
Seriously though I think my children must be mental.

Thanks Sachs--the children are both at the same school, so on the school run tomorrow --will feel a right Charlie amongst all the young parents.

My own children have phoned to speak to their children, and they have assured me that they are working things out.
As I didn't know there were problems I don't know what the outcome will be.

The children I,ve been landed with are well behaved and I enjoy their company , so being a caretaker parent should prove interesting, and quite enjoyable , if I'm honest.

So we will see what tomorrow brings

Once a mother, always a mother. Don't matter how old they are. I'm sure they appreciate you. You sound lovely and the grandchildren probably adore you. Does that make you feel any better?

Ohh Brenda - it's alot to take in. Luckily your children have a great mother who can care for their children and pets.

Sure the children and pets are enjoying their time with you - had to laugh about the gold fish- I'd have forgotten it , if it had been me.

G & Ts make the world go round.
