Someone i know is appearing in court tomorrow charged with causing death by wreckless driving.
How can I find out what court they are appearing in? I think I know the city.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.if it's a first hearing it should be in the magistrates' court where the offence was committed. you won't find it online. try ringing the local courts once they're open in the morning, and ask for the Listings Office. if it's not the right court they should be able to advise you.
all morning cases are listed for 10am, afternoons at 2pm. when you find the court, when you go in (assuming you are) there will be lists displayed showing which case is in which court. if you're not going you can ring later in the day to find out what happened.

Most court lists are either unavailable online or only available (on subscription) to members of the legal profession.
However, you can find the telephone numbers of possible courts here:

If you phone them (from about 9am onwards) tomorrow, they'll tell you whether the person you refer to appears on the court lists for the day.
