I saw on a thread for fibromyalgia that magnesium maleate helps in a big way with the pain, would it be ok to take this with the thyroxine that I am prescribed? Can any one help? Thanks in advance.

I remember seeing that too though am sure they said (or maybe on another thread I posted about fibro) that it is only on prescription.

May be worth having a chat through with your GP about taking the two.
I agree with Jenna, see your doctor....I'm looking for a miracle. Did you know there was a debate on Fibro in Parliament on May 5th for the very first time? Don't hold your breath for any great changes :o)
I'm going to ask about the magnesium maleate next time I go.

Had a lovely day in the lakes yesterday (went on a minibus tour so not much walking involved :)) but have hardly left the sofa today trying to recover, slept most of it and trying to keep awake for a bit but ache all over.
Sounds lovely Jenna, it's years since I was up that way. I know what you mean, enjoy yourself one day, pay the next...and the next...
