Hey you guys, im back!!
I have been having one of them days with my blood pressure, i have my own monitor to use at home. WEll today i have been feeling pretty low, prob the weather but been pretty chilled doing my own thing and enjoying the peace of no hubby. Any ways i have been checkingmy blood pressure regularly today, and its been in the high 130-146 range. Is there anything i can try at home to bring it down, been for a walk and got soaked done my baking but still no avail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am in no discomfort apart from the fact i feel like an elephant has taken up residence on my chest!

Confused.
Is 130-146 the systolic..top one and if so what is the diastolic...the lower one?

Are you already on BP lowerinf drugs, overweight or taking any other medication?
I've never suffered with a heavy chest :o(

but seriously, shouldn't you check this out with NHS Direct? chest pain/discomfort should be checked out, just for yuor own peace of mind.

hope you feel better soon x

That can soon be remedied.
are you a cosmetic surgeon, sqad?

excellent!
sara....No, but a "hands on".surgeon.....LOL
Hi firewatch , I'm wondering what the second reading of your BP is , presuming 130-146 is the first one , and the reading should contain both systolic and diastolic , as sqad says . Depending on your age , that 130-146 top reading could be normal range . x
