What's the status of a boxed brand new full version of Vista Home Premium for use on one pc once it's been installed and the product key validated?
If I removed it could it then be installed on another pc?

as long as it's a boxed, full retail version then yes it can be moved to another PC.

If it is an OEM version that comes pre-installed on a computer then it is tied to the PC it came installed on and can not be moved to another PC

Status of a legitimate shop bought XP installation CD. Was sold as a single license but I've changed my IP often and formatted the drive more than a few times. Was wondering if It was possible to install this on another computer without any problems?

Sorry, should have said it would be running on 2 computers with different IP'S and ISP providers.
