Sad enough but loads of you must have watched it already.

So what do we all reckon to it so far then? I've not seen enough yet to form an opinion as I was at work when they entered the house. Would be interested in what you think?

I don't know, but this is it: the point where it all gets strange. I've checked the website and there are a few people younger than me.

This is the year where I get to tut and shake my head and complain about the youth of today.

Oh what joy.

Still not got any plans to watch it yet, but I give myself 2 weeks before I get dragged into it all again.

As flashpig says, there is a sad inevitablility to losing a whole summer watching BB again.

But for F's sake, the contestants this year are universally and unremittingly appalling. All gobby Vicky Pollards! Not one likeable person amongst them!

Oh for the days of Anna, the lovely singing lesbian nun!

Looks like it could be fiery though. Let's lock 'n' load. Here we go!

Headtime - I'm sooo glad someone else thought that! I'm really concerned, as flashpig said, that I'm suddenly turning into a 'tut-tut, youth-of-today' man but I think we're still OK - the chosen contestants are of a certain... lower class. Every time a new housemate was introduces, all I could think was, "S/He's really arrogant and is going to annoy me." I thought they'd put some nice normal people in to contrast, but they didn't. The most normal they got was Saskia and possibly Sam. They others are just... agh!

Still... long, sleepless summer here I come.

I missed it all - we had a party here instead.  But I must admit to sneaking a peak at the website the morning.  Every single one describes themselves as annoying.  Most describe themselves as "the best X in the world" (X = their profession or hobby).  There's one who "dislikes any political opinion" (I already want to shake him) and a white witch who "hates TV produced for mass audiences" yet is in BB6!

They ALL sound HORRIBLE!!!!  They may be nice people outside, but they sound like they've promised to behave like bankers (sp!) just to get attention. 

I have NO desire to turn it on now - but I suspect I shall watch it once just to see how bad they really are.  And therein lies the risk that I'll get hooked again!

It was awful, what a horrible uninteresting shower - at my age I should have more sense than to get into this drivel yet again! I'll try very hard not to look while it's on. ;-)

Hope they wake them up at 5am every day with crazy frog!!

What did happen to the nice, if dimwitted people such as Helen or Paul Claaaaark?, They seem to be going for people who are controversial rather than ones we would be rooting for. Never thought i'd say this, but come back Jade and Cameron, all is forgiven.

Complete and utter drivel, it and other so called reality progs are in my opinion a complete waste of time, i do however respect the rights of those of you who enjoy it say so , maybe one of you can tell me why it is so engrossing to a number of people?

Has anyone noticed a trend though with the people the producers are picking each year? For instance, Derek is Ahmed, Lesley is Michelle, Vanessa is Emma or Jade, Kemal is Marco etc. It's deja vue big time! Sorry in advance if anyone else has already mentioned this as i haven't done a search. Worse one i thought was Craig. Anyone who f****ing needs to f****ing swear that f****ing much obviously has a f****ing low i.q.! I totally agree with the two week limit before it sucks me in to watching regularly. AArrgghh!

I watched it last night - my first viewing of this year's crowd.  They wound me up SO much that I had to leave the room by 9:35!  Such irritating characters.  And nursey/nightie girl saying "Well I can tell who's gay in here" like it deserved a medal in the post!  Oh PLEASE.  The producers had picked absolute stereotypes in everyone (and I don't just mean with the gay members of the household).  As for that 3 way kiss I saw on the "coming up after the break" - UUUUUUUUURRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!  That looked GROSS!!!!  I hope I last out longer than 2 weeks before switching on again! :-S
