does anyone know of any treatment that relieves the symptoms of tennis elbow?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.crisgal i have had tennis elbow in both arms, the 1st time about 25 yrs ago, The 2nd about 2 yrs later & after 3 cortisone injections in each one my G.P refared me to an orthopaedic surgeon who recomended an operation to ''release the tendon slightly'' & Touch wood i have had no problems since... Hope this helps you

She has gone anti-inflammatory pills and cream from dr but is really suffering.
Injections certainly wern't mentioned by the dr. Maybe he's going to see if the meds work first.
The strap thing seems like a good idea too.

its interesting reading all your answers because I was diagnosed with TE about six months ago but so far have not been offered anything other than physio which hasnt helped. Its starting to get better now but its taken all of this time. Its still sore but my mobility is much better now and its nowhere near as painful. Didnt realise it would take six momths tho to start to heal.
