I don't understand some of the messages on this site, I guess I'm getting old.
Contributors regularly use abbreviations, the meanings of which, I haven't a clue. Can anyone help please with a definative list of such and their meanings. TVM :o)

ROFLMFAO. which I like.
I have some medics in the family, who have learned about 100 each from the old days of GP scriblings. See if you can work them out:
NFL, NFF.
AEIOU DDD
AWTF
BUNDY
NYDN
OAP
And a personal favourite, one that the ABEditor can use on his techies: PEBCAK.
And PCMCIA, which I also like.

IMHO - I tohught that was in my HUMBLE opinion. Oh well.
My mum once got me a "little book of txt spk" - the sort that are sold at the counter in HMV and the like. You could casually peruse one of those and it may help.
I must add that, IMHO, using txt spk when typing on a site like this is just sheer laziness and it really gets my goat! It makes the user look thick, even if they aren't!
