My climate control (Renault Scenic)

I have had my Air con re-gased in my 51 plate scenic and it still does not work. Renault were useless - they wanted to go home for the 3.30pm shut of time on Friday. Thanks guys!!

Anyway, has any one else has problems with the air con on a Scenic and any suggestions?

That's terrible, I hope you didn't pay for the work to be 'done'.

I think that you would be better off taking it to an independent air-con specialist. Have them look at it, properly diagnose the problem, give you an estimate.

Then, decide whether to proceed with the work. If you have it done, go back to the Renault dealer and ask them to refund the cost of the work which they carried out based on what it has cost to have it redone properly at the independent specialist.

Hi Jules, my other half has a Renault Scenic and the air con in that is also pretty poor, hers is on a V plate but has only done low miles.

 Onthe other hand, I have just bought a Renault Laguna on a 51 plate and the air con is fantastic, so i cant really call Renault

Just curious but how much did you pay? I go to a "fridge repair guy" and he pumps the freon in the a/c for 20 quid
