What is this car logo?

We recently had a pub quiz with the usual round of car logos, and there was one which I just cannot find.

If you imagine the mercedes logo to start off, (3 prong star) it then has 3 lots of 2 parallel lines coming from the centre out to the circle, evenly spaced between the three larger points. I think it was silver on a black background.

Any help would be most appreciated as it is doing my head in!
