i-pod frozen

i dropped my 4gb last night and it has frozen.will not let me do anything.screens lit up showing battery level and the song that was playing when i dropped it.

try holding the middle button and the play/pause button. for a few seconds. that may reset it. if not, just leave it and eventually it'll run out of battery and switch itself off.
once off, leave it for a while (30mins or so), then try doing the middle button + play/pause button again. if it shows the apple logo for a second or two, it should be ok. if you still get nothing, try plugging it into the computer and leaving it there for a while to try and charge the battery up again.
