do,s anyone know if you can grow the top of a pineapple?

i understand you can but I dont know how. My guess is that you put it on a plate in a little water.

Yes you can. The plant will plenty of sunlight and warmth. You can do this with carrots too.

My sister does this all the time but unfortunately she lives in Florida so I supsect the Pineapple needs lots of sun/heat..

Just IM'd my sister in Fl... She said she cuts the top off and sticks it outside in the earth about an inch down with the spikey bit sticking out... But as I said this is in the US...
