Does anyone know a word for a novel which is written solely to pay the bills?(9)

From an old Woman's Weekly and if my wife is correct it's

Thanks everyone. I checked her other answers and she had saN instead of saO Paolo so potboiler is the correct answer. My apologies for giving you the runaround with incorrect letters - I'll check her answers next time! However I have to say that I would have been relying on you anyway as I've never heard of this word before. But THANKS TO EVERYONE
