angel12 that sounds abit random and scary, did you go home again? And did your work let you have the day off as holiday, i would have done but i am a good boss apparently

Angel, that post reminded me.

I had a lodger (another postman) once, and back then we finished about 11am. He'd go off on trips, and one day went to the isle of wight. Tube to waterloo, train to portsmouth, ferry, train to shanklin.

Trouble was, when he got to shanklin, it was time to come back, and without getting off the train, that's what he did.

I never could work out why.
