I have just found a strange egg in a pot of compost. It measures three and a half inches long and two and a half inches wide - its enormous - does anybody know what it might be/

The egg is creamy white colour and much too big to be a duck egg
goose eggs can be as long as 3.5 inches and are creamy white.
