Hi all, my girlfriend is from Thailand, she is getting a little worried as she actually does not ever sweat, we just came back from badminton and I was damn hot and fairly sweaty, she was completley dry and felt cold to touch (externally). But it's not just now, I just asked her if she has EVER sweat, if she ever remembers sweating at all, and all she said was in the Sauna, and I think from my opinion the sauna can make your body wet from the condensation of the steam... so that doesn't count.

Also, it's not a case of her not knowing what sweating is, or something unique to Thai people becuase I asked, and she confirmed that she has been with her sister, auntie, friends etc when they have sweat, in the same or similar conditions (excercise, temperature, clothing etc).

IS IT UNHEALTHY TO NOT SWEAT AT ALL, EVER!?
SHOULD SHE SEE A DOCTOR?

I would certainly recommend she speaks to her doctor about it. There are a number of reasons why someone may not sweat. It can be linked to hypothyroidism. Anhidrosis (inability to sweat) is also a condiition in its own right.
