Benalmadena from the Airport

Going to Benalmadena on 27/06/09 and was wondering if I can get a train from Malaga Airport to the resort.
We are then switching to Torremolinos on 04/07 until 11/07 and our hotel and according to the map on google, the railway station is nearby. So can I get a train back to Malaga Airport from Torremolinas.
I'm hoping the answers are yes which will save me a fortune on taxis.

There are trains every half hour between the airport and both Benalmadena (8 stops, 17 minutes) and Torremolinos (5 stops, 10 minutes).

You should note that the train station at Benalmadena is a couple of kilometres inland, so you might still need a taxi for the final part of your journey. See the map here:

we always use a cheap company called resorthoppa - we used them for malaga to benalmadena in july 08. may be worth checking them out for a quote?

As buenchico advised - very comprehensive info there!
JFYI the train station in Benalmadena is called,
'Arroyo de la Miel' and is inland as stated. Taxis do not cost much. (I am guessing your hotel is not in Benalmadena Pueblo.... as that is a fair bit further again - and no train there).
Easy to get to Torremolinos - Most of the big hotels are around the center (actual station 'Torremolinos') - other big hotels on beach not too far away... But poss look if there is a train stop near them as yes, there are various stops along this part of the coast.
