During ITV's television coverage of the Champions League Final in Istanbul on Wednesday last, there was a pre-match item involving a Liverpool poet reciting his poetical tribute to the Reds' journey to Turkey. Can anyone tell me the name of the poem or the poet and whether the poem has been published or is available for download?

It's by Nigel Shaw, who claims not to be a Liverpool or Scouse poet, just simply "Nige from Merseyside", and I have to agree with him.
