car shakes and chugs when engine is turned on

hi, i bought a new clio about 2 years ago. It has suddenly started to shake quike rapidly when i turn the engine on, and the whole car vibrates. This remains while i drive. The car speed seems to be a bit sluggish also and it feels like it's going to stall.


Any ideas what it could be?

It sounds as if you have a misfire (only firing on 3 cylinders), when was it last serviced, is your water level ok in the expansion tank?

Similar problem with a new VW Polo I had,turned out that the Ignition Coil; was falling to pieces !! Replaced under warranty.
