My Poor Cat Has Lost His Meow....
6 Answers
Hello all fellow cat lovers, my poor 3 year old cat, Floyd, has for the last few days been losing his meow, it's a bit like a small growl now and I wondered what could be wrong with the little bloke. He's eating and drinking well in fact i'd say it's normal for him and he still gets plenty of exercise and he still purrs like normal.
It's a bit like he's lost his knackers and now there growing again, sorry about the joke but my sence of humour is pretty good.
Cheers in advance...

If you are worried take him to the vet and get him checked out. How old is he btw?

Hi Disco, that happened to one of my cats a few years ago, turns out it was a chest infection, one antibiotic jab and 30 later, he was feeling and sounding much better!!
Don't be surprised if he finds his voice just as you get him into the cat basket though - mine did! Very embarrassing/funny saying to the receptionist "This is Elvis, we have an appointment because he's lost his voice" as he was howling away beside me!! Little sod! :)
Hope you get your's sorted.
