spongy pouch under bump

I'll be 35 weeks tomorrow and a week ago noticed directly under my bump, there is a strange pouch like bump, that feels spongy to touch. Does anyone know what this could be, it's very odd?

i've not had anything like this, velvetee, but i did a little google search and it sounds like it could be a water pocket??

I have no idea to your answer but just wanted to say I can't believe how quickly your pregnancy has flown! Probably hasn't to you but it only seems a few months ago when I was obsessively trying for a baby and on here all the time!
Now I work 2 jobs, had stopped trying after Christmas, supposed to be avoiding fertile time due to hubbys lack of work, and find out I am pregnant last week! This is 2 days after handing in my notice to do childminding full time!!
I am now almost 7 weeks! Just think, this time next month, you could be a mummy (if bubba decides to come a little early)

Congratulations Tigwig on your pregnancy. It does seem when you're not actively trying it happens, I expect you are so excited and the time will fly by, like it has for me. The 13 June is fast approaching and we're still not organised.

she was 6 pound 4 and came three weeks early! absolutly beautiful! cant believe how tiny she was,
i was in the middle of moving when she came and only just got the internet the day i posted that and was having baby milk troubles, tho all is sorted now!

My birthday is the 13th June and I don't know anyone else with the same birthday - hopefully the little chap is bang on time and you can name him after me!!!!

I think the Queen's official birthday is also on 13 June Annie.

Hi velvetee - I think the queen's official birthday is always the 2nd Saturday in June - whatever date that falls on, so it is sometimes the queen's birthday - this year it is, but I don't think that Queenie is a good name for a boy either! so you should maybe avoid that day.

yes my love it is called fat! brutal i know but its true i got it even tho i was a size 12 throught-out my seconde pregnancy and ive still got it (but no longer a size 12 ;-(

i was told the head was engaged at 36 weeks, the midwife had a little feel of my tummy and said dont worry u have a few weeks yet!!

but she came a few days later, to be honest i had a feeling she was coming early!

she was so tiny, she is so perfect,

when u due? or actually you probabilly have had the baby?
