Nope, as I have two email addresses. One for signing up to places like this which does get spam and one proper address which I share with trusted contacts, which gets no spam at all.
i have 6 e-mail addresses the one im getting this spam from is on the e-mail i only use for banking etc
don't think it makes any difference which e-mail you have for "secure sites" it still gets thru
no prob as it goes to my spam box, just interested to see if anybody else affected by this Russian spam
The addresses are just generated by guessing. If you want to reduce spam then make a freaky name.
I am lucky. I get very little spam. My main email address is on a domain name that is no longer published anywhere besides DNS. It ws taken over many years ago and my address is aliased to different obscure username on a currenlyly active network.
