split the house equity in separation
My Wife and I are going through a separation, I have calculated the equity and contents of our house and given her half. , she has used this to buy another property and move on. After the transferal of equity to me, I assume I become the deedholder on our old house. However is there some other legal document I can get in place in case she changes her mind 12mths down the line and want further amounts from me. I have heard of notice of consent but assumed this took place after decree nisi. We have only been separated a few months and I would like any advice on the matter cheers

It detailed everything that had been agreed to be split, and how. It was worth paying a bit to have it done, as she has no wroggle room now. I'd advise that you ask your/a solicitor to help you with it.
