Halifax ad

sometime ago there was a Halifax  ad (at least I think it was for Halifax) with a boy diving for pearls . He gets a big pearl. The ad was for morgages.

The music had an African sound to it. I wondered if any one knew what the music was. Thanks for your time

the ad was for cheltenham and gloucester mortgages

Ta for that. I wasn't sure what the building society was.

The Halifax seemed the closest.

if you do a search (new question) with c&g in the title, it brings up the answer (sorry dont know how to copy/paste, and its too hard to spell)

I think they used a section of a soundtrack from the movie - Gladiator. The artist is 'Enya'. It's called:

Enya - We Are Now Free

The bit of that track in that advert begins at 1:55 on the 'Enya' track. I hope this helped.
