mondeo squeaking noise

i have a 2001 duratec mondeo it drives great altho ive noticed these past few days i get in my car start engine put clutch in select 1st gear and as i do it makes a small squeaking noise so i kept cluth in moved through all gears and appears to still squeak a bit any ideas thanks .

Sounds like the clutch thrust race is on the way out. (If Mondeos have such a thing these days)

Check the selector shaft where the gear links go into the Gearbox.
