this is something new and wierd...
for the past two days ive noticed that if i have a snotty nose and try to "sniff" the mucus into my throat to swollow it, im unable to do so. I know you shouldnt do this in the first place i should be blowing it out of my nose.
anyways what happens is i can feel the mucus come from my nose and it gets stuck half way down my throat, instead of me being able to swollow it. when i try to swollow it the best i can it feels like its clogging my throat and nose. Its very uncomfortable and the only way to solve the problem is by coughing so i can spit the mucus.
I decided to blow my nose properly and it just seems to be a huge stream of clear mucus (or basically it looks like a lot of runny snot). at the moment i dont have a cold or a virus (not that i know of)
im curious to know if this could be a sinus problem. Mainly because every morning for a good few weeks now ive been having blood in my spit. Not coughing or vommiting just in my spit when i wake up. Im now thinking maybe this could be due to infected sinus's. Its very strange though - i have had some, but only slight pain just under my eyes and above my cheek bones recently, although its only happened twice.
