damaged nerve

I have cut my index finger have have told I may have damaged a nerve...all the signs lead to this.
I have heard somewhere that it would have to be repaired within three weeks.
Can anyone enlighten me,please

This is where the NHS comes into play.....repair of the nerve is essential, otherwise you will have permanent numbness in that index finger.

See your GP as you will need referral to a Hand Surgeon.
