stuck up in that there Techie dept...lol
nobody anwered my Qs so I said I would come back here and ask the "commoners"...LOL, love a bit of common,
and all I got for me trouble was,,,bye,,,pmsl. barry and Chuck being the exception to the rule,,, by theres some stuck up folk roond in there...lol

to get back to your question Joy,
if you used the software that Barry suggested all you should have to do is to tell it the video file you want to make into a DVD (click add file on the right) then click on project settings along the top, select the burning tab and make sure there is a tick in "burn project to disk" and click OK. Then just click create DVD and it should run through the motions and at the end burn the video onto a DVD that will be playable in your DVD player.

I always found them incredibly helpful and ACtheTroll one of the most helpful and quite decent. It's possible your last post annoucing that you were coming back here for help was a tad unnecessary as well as the post before that asking for Chuck and Barry's help in the question you'd already posted. I think in Technology they're more direct and give straight answers and I think continuous posts about the one problem is seen as a bit rude and impatient. I know I've had to wait for answers before but once they're on board then I've always found the tech team very helpful (and bl00dy patient)... ain't I Chukles?! ;0)
