God How Sick

is this - I have just been reading about the nursery nurse who took sick photos of children in her care at the day nursery. The paper said she took the photos in the actual nursery - question : where were the other staff ?
Also the poor parents are being shown the photos to try and identify if their child was in them.
How can a woman do this - its beyond belief.

Sqad....although both are as bad as each other some mothers fall pregnant by accident, by a violent man, in a violent estate after being dragged up themselves. Or some are just Evil....Some are of low IQ.
She....presuming she is guilty, has gone out her way to get a qualification to work with children. Got paid to work there by the parents of the little ones she abused. That's worse in my opinion.

Yes DEN53, I was quoting from Dirty Harry - and the point is as valid now as it was back in the mid-70's.
Where do we stop?
Who decides who holds the bat / gun / trapdoor lever?
Who decides who deserves what level of violence as a 'punishment'?
To be honest, this level of blind self-rightiousness makes me feel seriously worried for our society - oftunately such unhinged thinking is in a minority - as are crimes like this.
I'll run it by once again -
we are a civilised society
our laws make and keep us civilised
vigilanteism is no answer except violent disregard for anyone who the most violent think is OK - based on who-knows-what level of behaviour.
Let the court do its job.
Don't like the legal system? Protest properly.
Think about what sort of person you are turning into if you advocate this summary 'justice' that knee-jerk reactions demand.

I was shocked when this story first broke. And looking at the photo of the depraved woman who perpetrated this unfathomable crime against innocent young children, I have to say that she doesn't fit the profile of a child sex abuser. Just goes to show that you never can trust anyone !
I'm not a mother, but if and when I do decide to have kids, I know I will be terrified to leave them in the company of non-family members. Even the so-called professional child minders can be a danger to little kids. What is the ******* world coming to?

Hello Jan1957 - yes I do, I have three daughters, and two grandchildren.
All my daughters work in childcare - the eldest works with special needs children in a primary school, the middle one was a staff nurse in a children's hospice, and now lectures in child care, and the youngest is a nursery nurse.
As a parent and grand-parent of course I understand how awful this crime is, and how revenge is a natural reaction, but that does not make it desireable or appropriate.
This kind of righteous anger leads to mobs of dangerous people who need to punish someone - anyone, and that way lies anarchy.
We must let the law take its process, and hug our children closer to us tonight.
