The human fights back..... part 2

Since my last post I have been tough on the kitties, They have had less smelly meaty sachets per day and more of the dried Iams.
Apart from the incessant screaming in my ear and the attempts to take chunks out of my legs with little sharp claws things have not been too bad. By that I mean that Frankie hasn't (yet) been strangled and I am still relatively sane. Merlin is a typical female - she doesn't eat very much but has 'curves'.
But today, whilst staggering my way through my attempt at 10,000 steps, I dropped into a Tesco further away from my house. I bought Tesco own meat in gravy. They like meat!
However with just a glance at the bowl Frankie stated that is was unacceptable and unpalatable. He wandered off and Merlin followed him.
Why are animals that eat dead rodents and drink stale water out of puddles so damn difficult to cater for?
Bah!!

My "curvy" girl as you put it doesn't mind what meat I give her, though I'm sure when I take her to the vets she's going to have to go on a diet.
Have Frankie and Merlin updated their webpage recently? I loved reading that.
