my 19 year old son has just started today a summer job at the Royal Mail, after 2 months on the dole - and what have I just read in the Dail Mail........................the bloody postman are going on strike next week......................

Hi Joy - CAJ1 and zzxxee - I thought great he has got a job, my place is shining like a new pin, no boxer shorts, empty plastic water bottles and football bag cluttering the place up and wallop, he may be on strike.

I am hoping he will want to go to University next year - he studied sports science at college and has 3 A levels, but did'nt want to go to Uni this year, but I think he realises its not that easy out in the workplace to get a job.

Oh well, my hoover has been redundant for one day only, I had better empty the bag and get ready for next week ....................
