leaded windows

Hello About 6 inches of the lead flashing on my window has come away from the glass. My query is can I fix this myself or do I need a specialist . The lead is still all there albeit a bit stretched, just not attached. Thank you in anticipation. Janet

Hi Janet. I assume you mean the 'diamond lead' strip. The same thing happened to us due to a heavy handed window cleaner!

I bought this product which you may find does the trick, http://www.decraled.co.uk/70002/info.php?p=13& cat=69691 available on a roll and in different widths, simply cut to size and stick on.

Thanks for info - my window cleaner came a couple of days ago and I think he probably did mine too. Will try but he will have to be more careful in the future!!! Janet
