But I can't believe Faldo being knighted: he doesn't even live here and hasn't done for at least 20 years: he's domiciled in the States and although he had a glittering career in his heyday, he's been over the hill for a minimum of 10 years.
His last claim to fame was leading the European Ryder Cup team to defeat against the Yanks in 2007.
I personally believe that British people who are honoured should at least be still living here. In which case loads of these muppets who've had some kind of gong would never have qualified.
