no knowledge it isnt the search bar u use. type it into the web address bar at the top of the browser. open a new window and type the link into the address bar :)

i got a popup when i came on as my normal name and it said somethin like -- you have been selected for a survey on answerbank beta--
or something like that so i thought it was about the new site and clicked it and then that page come up.

i guess in hinsight i should have said nothing but i panicked as i searched for half an hour for my name and found it on there and thought at first it was every single name on it and thought you all should know about it. i didnt know then until later its just about a tenth of the users on the list.

but i cant take it back now and to be honest i think if people are joining they need to know all their things like emails and ip are easy to find without even being some spam hacker person really. i mean i wouldnt have known if it wasnt that pop up but it isnt brain surgrey to add a word to the end of it and stumble on it. it could have been there just today with that popup or there for years?

wonder if it is them moving our details over to answerbank 2 they are doing? maybe they dont realise yet it is doing that as they prob dont move our details about?

I've answered you on "usernames and emails", and yes, I also wondered at first if all this has anything to do with getting ready for the new site set up, but I don't think so, otherwise you woudn't be getting very old registered details along with the new - but nothing in between.
I was just puzzled as to how come you got this pop-up survey, yet no one else's mentioned it.
Whatever, if it's causing you worry, then I hope the Ed answers your questions.

my firfox browser blocks them but i decided to see what it was this time. i dont know how often it appears as i never really look but it is rare for me i get a pop up on this site.
maybe when you come on the site see if your browser has blocked a pop up or somethin?
i hope it isnt a virus i got from someone and i got targeted but it would be weird being targetted with something to do with answerbank :-S
