i did a first degree and then a PGCE.

I found that many places like you to have a degree in a national curriculum subject. I had a Law degree (i felt like I had to beg to get on my PGCE course) and my friends who had Psychology degrees struggled to get on some of the courses due to the background. Southampton is very happy to have Psychology graduates I have been told
