my son wants empire total war for the PC, do you have to pay a monthly subscription once you have registered for the game . many thanks

There's no monthly subscription, but make sure your PC is a good one. It needs a monster PC to run at anything near what the developer wanted it to look like.

hey thanks for the answer,the game will be played on a fujitsu siemans laptop. will the graphics card be big enough for the game...

You probably need a good gaming PC to run ETW. Laptops don't usually have the same processing power and may not have a powerful enough graphics card.

You'll need to install Steam and have access to the internet to play. Steam is used to check ownership and apply updates.

There's a demo available - but it's a pretty hefty download and may take a while. Empire Total War Demo.
