Has anyone tried Ateronon Tablets believed to slash cholesterol levels in eight weeks. I am desperate to come of medically prescribed statins. Any advice please?

Personally, I managed to knock my cholesterol back from over 7 to just under 5 with diet - with a bit of help from Benecol (see the BHF website above) which does have some effect, plus loads of oily fish, avocados and oats, and tomatoes and finally drinking skimmed milk has also been shown to have an effect! Monitored by the Doc, as well. I think you just have to experiment to see what works for you, but you can reduce it if you try.
