Worst (non-low-cost) airline you ever flew with?
Mine has to be Kuwait Airways, their Planes were in horrid, their in-flight in-flight entertainment wasn't working half the time, the cabin crew's lazy and incompetent as well as the staff in their hub (Kuwait City) who were rude and unhelpful and the flying, my nan could probably pilot the plane more smoothly. If I wanted a thrill-ride I would have bought a ticket to Alton Towers. The results, you feeling in a bad messed up state upon arriving at your destination, as well as the return. I learned my lesson, never again, so avoid Kuwait Airways like the plague.
So, what the worst (non-low-cost) airline you ever flew with? What experiences would you like to share? I omitted the likes of Easy Jet and Ryan Air for obvious reasons they are generally expected to be a pile of horse manure.

Easyjet is a pretty good low cost airline but there are better such as Air Berlin.
As for Kuwait Airlines... if you read www.airlineq uality.com you will be able to see that it is a bad airline.
I cant say I have had a REALLY bad experience with airlines yet and I fly a few times a year.

RYANAIR!!!!
Terrible!!!
We flew to Krakow with them and on the way back the cabin crew proceeded to tell jokes and make rude inuendos to eachother over the speaker. One even asked where the other one had spent the previous night and in who's room whilst giggling uncontrollably and mentioned something about her knickers....!!! We all just sat there is complete shock. They were a complete bunch of tramps!!

Have had fun with South African airlines. Got delayed by late arriving Air Botswana plane (which decided to make an additional non-scheduled stop en-route), therefore missed connection. Had to wait by check-in desk until plane was boarding to get on next one (this at about 11p.m.) Had then got to sprint across Joberg airport to get on plane. Collapsed in heap on plane, had good sleep, was woken by steward crashing my tray up and down to tell me 'breakfast was served'.
Next time flying back from Botswana, plane from Joberg was delayed by nearly 2 hours as no food had been put on plane. Arrived at Heathrow to find luggage left in Joberg, which then took another 3 days to arrive.
Am flying with them again in September...

Quite a few years ago we flew Air China, to Beijing and vowed never to use them again. The whole plane was filled with smokers, even in the non smoking section, most of them chain smoking and that was horrible to a non smoker. The food was not good, and the air crew sat and shared out a large box of Toblerone between themselves instead of giving them to the passengers, and the crew didn't even strap themselves in when requested, just flipped the strap over their shoulders and got up and wandered around before the plane had even stopped. The in-flight entertainment was a propaganda film of Chairman Mao which lasted about 2 hours!
