Healthcare professionals will tell you that it can take anywhere between3 and 6 months, and also that it is a good idea to have at least 3 normal menstrual periods before trying to cenceive. This will give your body time to get back into a regular cycle...
However, I have a friend who became pregnant within one month of having Implanon removed.
It took me almost a full year to become pregnant after the same procedure..
I suppose the answer in my opinion is, it is as long as a piece of string and different for everyone...
Best of Luck. I hope this is useful...
Remember to take your Folic Acid...xx

I had this and was told by my GP that normal fertility resumes immediately (whatever yours is!) She also said would it be a problem if you caught on straight away? So I'm assuming by these comments its pretty much out of your system immediately.
However for me I became obsessed with trying for a baby and would get very stressed out each month so after 4 months of unsuccessful trying and a pretty dire financial situation we stopped trying and avoiding fertile times.
I have now found myself pregnant 8 months after it been taken out so I guess there is no set answer!
Have fun trying don't be like I was!
