I awoke this morning to hear Caspar 'digging for victory' in his litter tray......he was at it for ages. When I got up...I discovered the little horror had aimed at the wall....... :-((

Princess Merlin won't go into the bathroom (where the litter tray is sited) if somebody else is there. She stands at the door and cries until the person/cat vacates the room and she can use the litter tray.
Frankie? He doesn't give a toss - he storms in (slamming the door open) and goes to do what a 'man has to do'. He has even done this when workmen have been in the bathroom.

I am sorry i can't stop laughing, I have 2 Toms you need to get a cowl on top of your lid, not only does it take the smell away but it stops all the mess, mine had a flap on the front,of it and after they had been they window clean the door with there poors. they were both unimpressed at first but after a sleep and a feed i would push them throuth the flap as they wouldnt on there own and after a bit they soon got used to it, and they are so good,you can by them from argos and pets at home �10.00 but well worth it..... good luck lol
There is nothing worse than drifting off to sleep in your warm cosy bed and then hearing Frankie digging tunnels to Oz in his litter tray. He eventually finishes and comes to visit me - sticking his little ar5e in my face.
I was also growing cat grass for them on a window sill and put it in a seedling tray. Only to discover Princess Merlin digging a hole in the soil, I replanted the grass in a plant pot and they munch away.

When we had our last cat, we often had to take him away with us at week-ends to care for elderly parents many miles away. Our cat hated being in the car and would poo constantly so we couldn't keep him shut in a cat basket. So just imagine you're in the fast lane of the motorway doing 70 mph, cat sitting on the back seat and suddenly deciding he wants a pee or a poo. He would jump down onto the little tray on the back floor of the car and scratch his litter all over the place. Not much you can do about it at that speed. Often the stench of the aftermath was so overpowering that occasionally we'd have to stop on the hard shoulder, squeeze out of the car without letting the cat escape to clean out and restock his litter tray.
Thanks for all this halarity guys...i am howling with laughter here. Just what I need after a c**p week.....keep 'em coming.
Caspar is quite vigorous in his digging.....I once found his tray half-way across the bathroom floor....and 90% of the contents spread several feet in either direction. It looked as if he'd up-ended it...and then set it right again.....;-((
